June 16-23, 2026 | Western Newfoundland

A week-long gathering across Western Newfoundland exploring rural life through art, Indigenous knowledge, science, food, music, and community connection.

SHORE TO SHORE (S2S) is a series of unique gatherings in Western Newfoundland that will happen June 16–23, 2026 connecting rural, coastal, and Indigenous communities through shared experiences, storytelling, creativity, research, and celebration.

From Port aux Basques to the Great Northern Peninsula and Labrador, participants will explore the relationships between wellness, culture, environment, and place through community events, conversations, art, music, and local knowledge.

This year, S2S is in partnership with the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation/North Atlantic Forum (CRRF/NAF). CRRF/NAF will take place from June 16 – 18, 2026 and S2S will follow in two different locations. These collaborations aim to foster knowledge sharing on rural development and community engagement at both national and international levels.
